All yard waste is to be disposed of at the Township’s yard waste drop-off station on Township Drive across from the Municipal Office. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Use by non-residents or lawn care/landscaping companies is prohibited. Anyone using the facility must be prepared to show proof of Township residency.

SEMI-ANNUAL YARD WASTE PICKUP

The Township also picks up semi-annually on the last Friday in May and the first Friday in November.  This program is for pick up and removal of all vegetation, yard waste, grass clippings and leaves.  These items must be placed in either paper compost bags or 32 gallon cans with no bags.  Cans MUST be marked compost.  Composte containers must NOT be heaveier than 50 pounds.  Branches less than four feet in length that are bundled and less than 50 pounds per pubdle may also be left at the curb.  Do NOT put branches in cans or bags.

Acceptable Yard Waste

Only yard waste is to be disposed – grass, leaves, small shrubs, & small tree limbs. When disposing of yard waste please drop as far back in the station as possible. When dumping bags or containers they must be emptied and removed from the premises.

Purchasing Compost

The finished compost (mulch) is available for purchase from the Township’s yard waste drop-off station for a fee of $5.00 for a pick-up truck load and $100.00 for a tri-axle truck load.
